Why Do Oyster Mushrooms Grow Before Mycelium Fills The Bag?
1. Cause of occurrence
(1) The amount of bacteria used is too large;
(2) The bacterial strain is too old, and the old bacterial mass enters reproductive growth in advance, and mushrooms appear before the hyphae are completely full;
(3) The bag mouth is loosened too early, the light in the mushroom shed is too strong or the temperature difference between day and night is too large to stimulate mushrooming;
(4) Your bacteria stick is not completely sterilized, and the middle part is infected with bacteria. The mycelium of the oyster mushroom cannot extend smoothly. The mycelium at one end that has been infected will produce mushrooms after it reaches a certain accumulated temperature. 2. Prevention and treatment methods
Control the amount of bacterial strains at 12% to 15%; select strains with appropriate bacterial ages; wait until the hyphae are full before opening the bag; pay attention to shading and heat preservation at night to improve the bacteria-producing environment; do a good job of sterilization and prevention of miscellaneous bacteria .
The mycelium of oyster mushrooms will produce before the bag is full. Not only will the shape of the mushrooms be unsightly, but the quality of the mushrooms will also be poor. It will also take away the nutrients in the bag and affect the yield of mushrooms. In order to achieve smooth mushroom growth and high yield, management during the culture period cannot be careless.
