Key Points of Pleurotus Geesteranus Cultivation Techniques

(1) Compost formula (unit: kg)
1. Cottonseed hull 80, lime 3, sugar 1, urea 0.1, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.1, rice bran 5, corn flour 5, water content is 65%.
2. Miscellaneous water 68, bran 15, corn flour 5, magnesium sulfate 0.2, cottonseed hull 10, lime 2, superphosphate 0.5, moisture content is 65%.
3. Bagasse 68, bran 15, corn flour 5, magnesium sulfate 0.2, bean cake 3, lime 2, urea 0.1, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.1, water content 65%.
(2) Composting fermentation
Using this fermentation method to germinate the spores of miscellaneous bacteria in the culture material, and then sterilize at high temperature or normal temperature, can shorten the sterilization time and reduce fuel consumption. The method of building a heap is to build a heap with prepared materials, each heap is at least 200 kg, and the outer cover is fermented with a film. When the temperature of the material rises above 60°C, keep it for 12 hours and then turn it over. When the temperature of the material rises to 60°C, keep it for another 12 hours, then it can be bagged and steamed for sterilization.
(3) Bagging and sterilization 
Put the compost bag filled with the culture material into the sterilzer, sterilization for 2-4 hours at normal pressure, and 1 hour at high pressure.
(4) Inoculation
Strain seeding, hyphae cultivation, and fruiting management can be carried out according to the growth method of Pleurotus ostreatus.
(5) Harvesting
Pleurotus Geesteranus should be harvested in time. Harvest when it grows to six or seven matures, so as to prevent the mushroom body from growing into a large leaf mushroom and reduce the commodity value and sales price
